 Who we are…A popular hotel Nazareth known for its unique atmosphere and friendly ambiance, Al-Mutran Guesthouse is a beautiful Arab mansion built around the 18th century originally the home of the Kattouf family famous for their jewelry made of handmade gold, gemstone and diamond. The family’s craftsmanship allowed them to acquire wealth and build a stunning mansion in elegant architecture that features lovely tiled underfoot, exquisite balconies, and exposed stone walls. Located next to the home of the Greek Orthodox bishop of Nazareth, we were aptly named “Mutran”, an Arabic name for bishop. DirectionsAddress: 2654, Nazareth, 16100 Israel From the Airport: Drive to Nazareth by High Way 6. Pass through the tunnel and drive straight to the city until you arrive at the city center circle where you’ll be facing the Basilica of the Annunciation. Make a right turn till you reach Mary”s well Square. To your left would be the Well monument and about 150 m is Tishreen Restaurant. Right across this restaurant is Al-Mutran Square where you will see the Greek Orthodox Bishopria and near it is Al-Mutran Guesthouse. From the North: Upon arriving ar the northern traffic light junction of Nazareth, turn right and continue to Mary’s Well. As you turn right and then left and walk 150 m you’ll see Tishreen restaurant. The Greek Orthodox Bishopria would be in sight sitting next to Al-Mutran Guesthouse. |
